Disney Mobile is promoting a limited-edition “Steamboat Willie” phone aimed squarely at Disneyophiles. The “Steamboat Willie” phone comes complete with collector packaging and a collector pin.

Disney is offering an extra $30 mail-in rebate for its silver DM-P100 clamshell from Pantech Corp., which reduces the total price of the phone from $60 to $30. The company is also offering an extra $50 mail-in rebate on the red DM-L200 from LG which reduces the price of the phone from $100 to $50. The rebates expire on March 31.

The Steamboat Willie DM-L210 flip-phone from LG is retailing for $300 and features an image of the first iteration of Mickey Mouse on its front, an engraving of the character and a handset number on the back, and more vintage Disney-themed content than other Disney Mobile phones. The phone comes with a collectible pin as well.

According to a mini-site dedicated to the phone, only 2,006 of the handsets are available; customers can buy them either as a usable phone with service or as collectors items for display.
