Alltel is teaming with broadband entertainment company Atom Entertainment for a contest that highlites videos shot with mobile phones. The promo called 'My Circle'� encourages users to record videos of their friends and family members with their handsets. Ten finalists will win $1,000 each; the winner of the $5,000 grand prize will be chosen in September.

The contest also comes on the heels of news that Italian filmmakers shot a 90-minute documentary using a video-capable cell phone, according to reports.
