AT&T To Launch Mobile TV
AT&T found a pot of gold when it inked the contract for exclusive distribution of Apple iPhone. Today, with big sales in mind, AT&T would soon offer Mobile TV service to capable cell phones. After months of planning, AT&T Mobile TV is set to launch this coming month of May. AT&T feels the need for Mobile TV since most smartphones now have a wider display screen that gives more convenience in viewing videos.

AT&T would utilize Qualcomm's MediaFlo technology in their Mobile TV service. The service would initially be offered in two of its handset models. These handsets include Samsung Access and LG's Vu. Both of these cell phones have an interactive touch screen display that comes with a music player. You can also purchase external speakers whenever you use your Mobile TV for better audio experience. These handsets also features a digital camera and comes with Bluetooth connectivity. AT&T Mobile TV would be the direct competition of Verizon Wireless' V Cast.
AT&T would soon offer to its millions of subscribers mobile entertainment on the go. They will soon experience real time news on sports and current events. And for TV addicts, goo news, you would never have to miss your favorite primetime shows anymore.
Mobile TV would be offering a wide range of programming that would definitely give you the information that you need, when you need it. Among the channels that AT&T Mobile TV would present to the market include CBS Mobile, ESPN Mobile TV, NBC 2GO and News 2Go.
