BlackBerry Storm Out In November

There is definitely something to look forward to this November. The BlackBerry Storm, RIM's first touchscreen device, is set to hit the market officially on the November 21 according to Verizon in the US. On the other hand, Bell and Telus of Canada are yet to announce an exact release date of the Vodafone.

The BlackBerry Storm is part of the 9500 series of phones, but it is the first to have the SurePress™ screen. Other features include CDMA with EV-DO Rev. A data, UMTS with HSPA data, and quad-band GSM with EDGE data.

With superb multimedia capabilities, the BlackBerry Storm can certainly compete with the other big names in the mobile phone industry. There is the iPhone by Apple Inc., the T-Mobile G1 by HTC, and even the HTC Touch Diamond, Pro and HD. The BlackBerry Storm is similar to the iPhone's shape and dimensions, but it is a bit thicker and shorter. It would surely make a great impression as you travel anywhere around the globe.

The price is not that bad at all. For $199 after a $50 mail-in rebate, the BlackBerry Storm is really worth your money. If you want to be the first to start flaunting this black beauty, then cross your fingers and start wishing Bell and Telus to make their important announcement regarding its availability. Verizon already did, lucky for the United States. Oh and yeah, start wishing too that the pricing of the Blackberry Storm can match that of their US counterparts just south of the border.
