Buy.com is the destination for everything wireless, in this review we'll take a look specifically at their Bluetooth products. Bluetooth is a communication language that provides a way to connect and exchange information between devices such as mobile phones, laptops, PCs, digital cameras, etc. over short-range radio frequency. If you're thinking about getting a Bluetooth device for your cellular phone then take a look at Buy.com and their Bluetooth product line.

One of the key features for consumers is the on-site product comparison page. There was the product from Buy.com, but like Amazon, options to check out some other merchants to compare prices. When I checked some Bluetooth prices between the two competitors I was surprised to see Buy.com cheaper for many Bluetooth headsets.

What's different than Amazon? Well there are pros and cons. The good is the number of customer reviews on the products, quite a few for the particular Bluetooth products I was checking out. Also, Buy.com actually permits consumers to purchase items through Google Checkout. That's certainly an added option over and above Amazon. Many items come with free basic shipment. The Bluetooth products I saw all qualified for free basic shipment.

The bad? Well I wasn't impressed with the overall design. I think they can offer something a bit professional looking. Sure they could take the whole, 'we pass the savings to the customer,' but in reality if you're a major internet retailer then take a moment to improve the way it looks. Also, I thought checkout was the opposite. Rather than simplicity in checkout I was inundated with ads for product ad ons. Finding the checkout button took a second to locate. Otherwise, the checkout system was a standard system.

All in all, without checking actual shipping times Buy.com offers some solid product comparison options, payment options, and of course lower prices than major competitors (compared against Amazon) for Bluetooth products.
