The simple and cheap LG KC550 camera phone will soon be having a new companion. LG is reported to release the KC560 at the end of this year. Rumor has it that while the KC550 boasts imaging features, its sibling focuses on fashion and music (mostly on style). As most of the holiday cell phone releases, LG’s new offering is quite a bit flashy, others might describe it as stylish or just plain good-looking. Many techies say that LG have come up with a pretty interesting approach for this shopping frenzy launch.

The KC560 features small colored LEDs at the bottom side of the phone’s front panel. This is the key gimmick on this phone. The LEDs they blink when there’s an incoming call and flicker when you play a track. This flashy design feature may impress teenagers, but this may also annoy many other users.

Thank God the KC560 has other features that will certainly be appreciated by the public. This fashion/music cell phone comes with a 2.4-inch TFT display, a 3.2 MP autofocus camera, FM radion GPRS/EDGE and tri-band GSM (900/1800/1900) connectivity, microSD memory card slot, USB and Bluetooth. Other interesting features of the KC560 are the Back panel and the golden D-pad that will surely make an impression to the public.

Overall, LG’s upcoming device is a pretty good deal technologically speaking. However, some will find that the KC560m is trying too hard to impress. The price is probably somewhere around $300 to $350 before subsidies and taxes. This price tag is absolutely affordable, assuming that the KC560 will come out during the holiday season.
