Cellphone with Dust-Resistant Feature Launched by Sony Ericsson

At first glance, the Sony Ericsson K330 may look like an ordinary candybar mobile phone. But once you get to use it, you would come to know that it ain't attracting no dust. The K330 is a one-of-a-kind dust-resistant phone. So if you are someone who loves to travel with the windows open during your outdoor adventures, this phone is perfect for you. If your work requires you to be on the field all the time, the K330 needs no cleaning and you can take it anywhere with you.

The Sony Ericsson K330 works on a dual band GSM network (850/1900MHz or 900/1800MHz). It is an entry-level phone with all the basic features that you need. It comes with a VGA camera that can take pictures of your trip. It can also work as a video camera that can record a 2 minute video. Although the K330's TFT screen is smaller than those of the high-end phones, its 1.7 inches screen has a good resolution of 128 x 160 pixels. A sad thing for the web buffs, you cannot even check your e-mail with this phone but it is GPRS enabled. For connectivity, you can rely on its Bluetooth technology that you can use to transfer data like images and phone book entries. If you want a little music during your travel, you can turn on the K330's FM radio.

Since the Sony Ericsson K330 is designed for the outdoor, it comes with a built-in flashlight function that can help you find your way during camps and outdoor escapades. Battery life can last for days. You can use it for 12 and half days at standby mode and can give you seven hours of talk time. You can choose one of the two handset color schemes, which are gold color on black or black color on green.

The Sony Ericsson K330 is set to hit the market in Q3 of 2008.
