Experience Yahoo on Your iPhone and Google-based Phone
Yahoo is one of Google's biggest rivals in the search engine industry. Today, Yahoo would try to bump into Google again on the field of mobile web search and mobile Internet services. A top executive from Yahoo announced that the company would soon offer their services to mobile users. They are looking at offering their services even to those consumers who already have Google applications on their phones. Yahoo would also work with Apple iPhone's system to be able to make their services useful and available to a wider range of consumers.
Marco Boerries, Yahoo's mobile chief, said during the Consumer Electronics Show that Yahoo is open to the idea of mixing and matching their own services with that of Google and other competitors.
Yahoo Internet services would soon be available to consumers with a number of enhancements and improvements. Cell phone users can now experience a more accessible Yahoo at any time. The company has been talking and coordinating with hand set manufacturers for the past years to incorporate Yahoo services in their line of products.
With the success of e-commerce, there are a lot of people who are interested in creating websites. Yahoo is looking to open its doors to outside companies who wanted to build mini-websites in Yahoo's featured pages. Widgets created by News Corp's My Space, Ebay and Viacom Inc's MTV are only a few of the applications that are to be featured in Yahoo pages.
