FCC approved Nokia 3555 for T-Mobile

FCC recently approved the Nokia 3555 handset last October. It also recently approved another version of this handset this January. The 2nd version Nokia 3555 was made for T-Mobile with the addition of AWS 3G feature.

The Nokia 3555 was displayed at the Consumer Electronic Show at Las Vegas. It is one of Nokia's affordable 3G phones. It is actually the newer version of the Nokia 6555. This is Nokia's strategy in getting through the low-end market by offering cheap handsets with advanced features such as 3G.

If you are into flip phones, you might fancy a Nokia 3555. This 3G flip comes with all the standard features of a Nokia phone including speaker phone, dialing commands, recording and push-to-talk features. This FCC-approved handset work on a 1700MHz network.

It has a microUSB port for file transfer and data connection. You can play music with its media player and a 2.5 mm headset jack for your earphones. It has Bluetooth connectivity and is capable of Internet access. With 3G, you cannot only make voice calls, but video calls as well. Although its display might be a problem for some people who used to browse the Internet with large smartphone LCD screen, you might have to adjust with Nokia 3555's relatively smaller screen.
