How To Set Up Your Nokia Phone’s Mobile Browser
There is a lot of buzz going on about mobile Internet. Web browsing on the go is really something to be excited about. You can get information with just a few clicks of your keypads. You can get directions to your destination, download music and movies and even chat with your friends with your mobile phone, wherever you may be. But not all people experiences the beauty of mobile web surfing. Why so? You cannot imagine just how many cell phone users do not know how to use their mobile Internet service simply because they don't know how to set it up. This simple blogpost aims to show Nokia phone users how they can start enjoying their mobile web service.
First off, you need to make sure that your handset has access to the Internet through your phone carrier's network. On the Main Menu of your mobile phone, select Web. You would then be directed to a browser. Select Option with your left menu key. You can then personalize your web browser according to your preference by selecting Settings.
There are a number of things that you need to take note of on the Settings menu. Firstly, your phone service carrier should have the Default Access Point all set. If by chance you notice that it takes several minutes when you load a page, you can change Show Images to "No". Images usually make a web page slow loading. If you badly need to view the pictures on a certain web page, you can view them by selecting Options, then clicking on Show Images. You can turn "On" text wrapping so that you would see all text links even it occupies more than one line on your screen. You can also adjust the font size of texts making them readable on your cell phone screen.
In some Nokia smartphones, you can also take advantage of Automatic Bookmarks. It is an auto-complete feature that lists all possible web addresses you visited in the past that corresponds to what you are typing in. You can also opt to adjust the Screen Size of the current web page that you are viewing. You can also go to the Rendering menu where you can choose the quality and speed of loading web pages. Choosing Quality setting would mean you can view images with higher resolution but this may mean that a web page may take longer to load. You can also choose Speed setting where the resolution of images may be low, but you can experience fast loading of web pages.
For more information on Nokia's web browsing features, you can always consult your cell phone's manual. Now that you know how to set up your mobile browser, go ahead and take advantage of the power of the web and experience mobile surfing at its best!
