iPhone Integrates MS Office

You think the iPhone is just for playing games, listening to music, or going gaga over YouTube videos? Think again. The iPhone has just gotten cooler. One of Apple Inc.'s pride now houses a new version of Microsoft Office. You no longer have to download your set of applications via the App Store. This version is accessible through different Internet browsers like Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, as well as the Safari browser on the Mac.

Now this is definitely another reason to own an iPhone. Apple's mobile phone is famous for being a superb portable Internet device. It caters to the millions of Internet savvy people around the globe. You simply can't resist the new set of applications available for the iPhone. This new feature is definitely a great addition to the iPhone's functionality. Maybe those people who still think it is just an over-priced iPod would start thinking otherwise. The Microsoft Web Office suit now allows every iPhone user to accomplish more on their trusty mobile device.

Although the official public release date is yet to be announced, 2009 is noted as its launching year. Strangely enough, the rumor first came from Cnmo.com, a Chinese site. It is not something one would expect an Apple news to come from.

Meanwhile, a private technology preview of the new Microsoft Web Office will be on display towards the end of this year for all gadget lovers to drool at. Eager fans are surely hoping it does not get postponed again and again, just like the Windows 7.
