A new software update is now available for those using the Apple iPhone. This software enable the user to check their present location with a Maps application. The user is also able to send a single message to multiple people simultaneously, produce Web Clips for use on websites, personalize their own home screen as well as view movies rented from an iTunes Movie Rental.

These software updates can be added on the iPhone using its user interface that has multi-touch capabilities. All those using iPhone can get this software update free of charge. They just have to sync their Apple iPhone with the iTunes software.

An iPhone frequently accessed application is Maps, which has now been upgraded with the latest interface and features. Apple also has the iTunes Movie Rentals which allows the users to rent blockbuster hits and other movies using their computer and moving it to their iPhone where they can view it anytime and anywhere they like to. The iPhone has the navigational capability to skim through the movie chapters and tweak other options such as language and subtitles.

The Apple iPhone software update, of version 1.1.3 can be downloaded now by all iPhone users in the UK, France, Germany, and the US, provided that their iTunes is of the 7.5 version or higher. Those users who are purchasing a new iPhone need not download this update since it is already incorporated in the software.
