Nokia To Launch 8208 CDMA in Asia

China might be one of the first countries to welcome the new Nokia 8208 CDMA phone. This handset is such an attraction with its dual-slider features. It has a slight resemblance to the Nokia N95. This cell phone works on a CDMA EV-DO Rev A network similar to those of Verizon and Sprint.

The Nokia 8208c comes with a number of features. It is very hand at 126 g with dimensions of 101 mm. x 45 mm. x 16 mm. It is great as a multimedia phone and a navigator. You can play your favorite music on the go and consume up to 20 hours of music playback. The second slider of the 8208c has dedicated buttons for your music player- a feature that is somehow similar with the N95. You can plug in regular headphones via this handset's 3.5 mm audio jack.

You can take pictures and snapshots with the N8208c's built in camera. It can take up to 3 MP of high quality image. You can also locate and be located with its built-in GPS software. Navigating around your phone would be easy with a wide 2.2 inches QVGA (240 x 320 pixels) display screen. It also comes with a microSD card slot that can take up to 8GB of extra storage space. If you don't have a memory card, you can use up to 150 MB of this phone's internal memory. Aside from the music player, you can also stay tuned to your favorite FM radio stations. You can stay connected with your friends and family via MMS and SMS messaging and through email. Nokia 8208c has a micro-USB slot that you can use for PC syncing. It has a good battery life that can last you 11 days at standby mode and 4 hrs. of talk time.

No word has been out as to when the Nokia 8208 would be launched, but it said to hit cell phone stores pretty soon! Watch out for it!
