Nokia Unveiled Nokia N810

With all the attention of cell phone fanatics all focused on the iPhone, it is up to Nokia to make themselves noticed again. The company recently launched its newest line of gadgets that is set to awe the market- the Nokia N810. This mobile phone would be compatible with Sprint Nextel Corp's high-speed wireless network which is set to give cell phone users faster and better data connection. The Nokia N810 competes with the iPhone in terms of screen size. It has a wide 4.13 colored screen. What more, it rivals the iPhone with its touch screen features.

Compatibility with WiMax is one of the selling points of the Nokia N810. This technology promises to give mobile web surfers as much as five times faster speed that what we have today. Aside from WiMax, the N810 can also work with Wi-Fi. The main difference of these two technologies is that you can still connect to the web with WiMax even if you are no longer in a Wi-Fi hotspot.

Sprint Nextel Corp. is one of the more popular providers of WiMax. They are looking to expand their reach to be of service to a wide range of costumers. Initially, Sprint would be focusing and providing WiMax technology to big cities including Chicago, Washington DC and Baltimore. In its advocacy to be of service to more costumers, Sprint Nextel Corp. is looking to partner up with other smaller companies who are providing WiMax services. Clearwire Corporation is one of the WiMax providers that the company is currently making deals with. Sprint Nextel is also talking with Comcast Corp., Google Inc. and Intel Corp. to cooperate and participate on how they can improve WiMax technology for Sprint Nextel subscribers.

Nokia N810 would soon be available at Nokia's official website and in stores for the price of $479.
