Sony Ericsson is not only focusing on giving the consumers sleek and functional cell phones, but they are also gearing up to make their mobile services appreciated by consumers. The company would soon launch a music download service where users can download all the mobile music content that they want directly to their handsets.

Sony Ericsson is in the process of drafting deals from all major music recording company. Nokia already have a similar service available to their subscribers and Sony Ericsson is on the run to do the same thing and give more value to their costumers. The company is looking to launch this service by September and is rumored to have its first launch in Europe.

Sony Ericsson has a number of music phones in the market and a service such as unlimited music download proved to be very timely. It also has a number of Walkman cell phones that have been doing great in the market. This service is in addition to the Sony Ericsson's PlayNow Arena online music store that was just recently launched last August. At this store, you can download thousands of music from world wide recording companies like Sony BMG, EMI, and Warner Music.
