Sony Ericsson, following the lead of the two companies, launched its newest line of product- the Z555 Fashion Phone. Although, this latest handset does not have any fashion brand emblem on its make up, Sony Ericsson is positive that it would attract fashion-conscious mobile phone users just the same.

Sony Ericsson unveiled this beauty during the International Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas. The Z555 Fashion Phone has a clamshell design that is an absolute attention grabber. One of the things noticeable about this handset is its elegant reflective surface finish. The luxurious diamond design on its front panel can truly be an attraction. You can choose from two colors, Diamond Black or Dusted Rose.

Sony Ericsson's Gesture Control feature is also one of the things to get excited about. Remember how you would set your phone alarm on to wake you up in the morning and how it could be frustrating to wake up and key in some things to be able to set its alarm off. With Z555's Gesture Control all you need to do is do a little back and forth movement with your hand and the phone would automatically be set to snooze mode. You can also do the same thing if you wanted to put your phone in silent mode whenever it rings.

The Z555 also has an external LCD display that allows you to know who's calling you without opening the phone's clamshell. When your phone is not in use, the display screen is actually not visible and would not ruin the sleek look of your phone.

This phone also has Bluetooth stereo and an FM radio player. With it's 1.3 megapixel camera you can take pictures whenever you want and you can use the phone's picture blogging features. You can always be in the know with its RSS newsfeed reader and enjoy some fun with its 3D Java gaming. To gain Internet access, you can rely on its GPRS/ EDGE technology.

This sleek and fashionable phone is set to be available in the second quarter of 2008.
