Sundance Channel Programming Available with V CAST

If you were a big fan of the film industry and you are a Verizon Wireless subscriber, you are in luck. Sundance Channel and the said mobile phone service provider are teaming up to give film enthusiasts daily updates on the Sundance Film Festival this January. All you need to do is to sign up with Verizon Wireless V CAST service.

The V CAST works on a 3G EV-DO network to be able to provide Verizon Wirelesssubscribes video, audio and other mobile entertainment content. This service allows data downloads and video streaming with download speed going anywhere from 400 kilobits to 2 megabits per second

The Sundance Channel would be featuring the Sundance Film Festival that would run from January 17 to January 27. The two companies first announce the availability of the said service at the Las Vegas International Consumer Electronic Show.

If you love films and has particular interest in the Sundance Festival, with a V CAST, you would get video clips of the festival and other clips prior to the event. If you wanted to take a look at last year's Sundance Festival, you can also view clips featuring Crispin Glover and Robert Redford. You can get to watch a myriad of traditional short films and animated ones. You would also receive daily updates about the Sundance Festival starting from January 17 until the event concluded.

Christopher Barry, Verizon Wirelessdigital media and business strategy senior vice president, is thrilled about Sunday Channel programming on V CAST. He also stated that in the future, they are looking at offering original films that are created specially for mobile viewing.

V CAST service is only available to selected enabled handsets. You can get the service and enjoy Sundance Channel programming at only $3 for 24-hour viewing or with a monthly subscription of $15.
