    Goodbye Bell, Hello Rogers;
    We thought we would contact you before we made the move to Rogers phone service. Our cell phone is outdated and we were in the market to purchase a new model and update our contract as our past 3-year contract had expired. We have been dealing with Bell Canada for over 50 years and have had a cell phone for about 15-years. This background information should have some relevance especially when dealing with your company.

    We went to the Devonshire Mall outlet to looik into getting a new cell phone from Bell. Great news, it appears we had for our customer appreciation, for the term of our past contract a $250.00 credit towards the purchase of a new cell phone. Upon looking at the new models, we zeroed in on a Razor 2 model that was regularly priced at $449.00, which would cost us $199.00, or people off the street could purchase for $250.00 with a 3-year contract.

    So taking this into consideration, my calculations shows that someone who has had no dealings with Bell was receiving a $200.00 allowance??? Therefore in reality as a 15-year user, we were only receiving a $50.00 allowance not really a $250.00 customer appreciation. Hello is there anyone there, or is the public really that stupid to buy this gimmick?

    You think that's good there was another phone that was similar to the Razor 2 with added rebates, that when calculated was the same price for me to purchase with my allowance as it was for someone off the street to purchase.

    Not good business ladies and gentlemen, especially for valued customers. Again my thoughts only as i Had assumed we were valued customers.

    We also studied a new plan with added features and left to contemplate what we would do before we made the purchase. Fortunately, we live near a Roger's outlet and went in to see what they had in cell phones. To our amazement found they also carried a Motorola Razor 2, exactly the same as Bell. I shouold state that we have no loyalty with Rogers, we have never dealt with Rogers and had no allowance whatever. THE PRICE FOR THE EXACT SAME PHONE WAS $149.00 WITH AN ADDITIONAL 25% OFF taking the same 3-year contract similar as Bell's.

    Put yourselves in our position, we would really like to hear you thought of how you would have felt about this situation. Imagine having bought this phone from Bell to find this out you were taken for $81.00.

    If you would like to rectify this situation send us the Motorola Razor 2 cell phone at no cost with all accessories, and free use of the phone for one year in Norfth America as compensation. After the free one year use, we will sign a new 3-year contract to run concurrently. Don't worry my wife and I are not big cell phone users, so costs would not be high for us. Enclosed is our mailing address, and obviously if we do not hear from you within 5 working days, we will consider this matter closed.
