You can free up a serious amount of memory space when you move your Cookies, Cache and History files on your external storage card. You should use your storage card whenever you browse the Internet and use your phone's browser. This would free some space on your device. To do this, create folders with the same name on each memory card that you would be using. Here's a step-to-step instruction:

• Open up your mobile browser using Active Sync. Use File Explorer/ File Manager and create the following folders on your memory card: \ietemp\history, \ietemp\cookies and \ietemp\cache.

• On your registry editor, go to the following: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

• Edit the following:
"History" to \Storage Card\ietemp\history
"Cookies" to \Storage Card\ietemp\cookies
"Cache" to \Storage Card\ietemp\cache

• After doing this, reboot your phone.

• You can now delete your old \history, \cache and \cookies folder and free up space on your phone memory by going to File Manager, then go to \Windows\Profiles\Guest. You can now delete the folders mentioned above.

You can also free more space by moving your email and email attachments to your storage card. One important tip in conserving data space on your device: as much as possible, save data on an external memory card. You can also use a storage card to back up important information on your Smartphone.
