Unlimited Calling Now Possible with AT&T

To solve this problem, AT&T has come up with plans that offer unlimited calls to other mobile phone subscribers within the same area code in the United States. Unlimited calls do not apply to long distance calls or roaming. New subscribers may avail of this plan for a low monthly fee of $99.99. Existing subscribers may add this plan on their present wireless plan.

Subscribers just need to go to their nearest AT&T retail store or kiosk by the 22nd of February to avail of this new unlimited call plan. They may even go to the website at http://www.att.com and there subscribe for this plan. For existing clients, adding this plan to their present one will not affect the length of their contract. For the new ones, they can choose to make unlimited calls within a contract period of a year, 2 years or monthly.

There are still a wide variety of plans that AT&T customers can select from depending on how often they use their cell phones for calling or text messaging. Those with the standard cell phones provided by AT&T will be charged $5 for every 200 text messages received or sent, including picture messages, video messages, and instant chat messages. For an unlimited number of messages, the fee is $35 per month, which includes unlimited Media Net Access as well.

AT&T Mobility President and CEO Ralph de la Vega said that since business of telecommunications is facing touch competition, they have to keep abreast of what plans are best for their clients needs.

AT&T, being the largest digital network for voice and data in the country, provides their customers with utmost service, making 3G available in most of its major markets, if not all.
