Wireless Technology on the Spotlight at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show
One of the biggest technology events to hit the new year is coming to Las Vegas. The Consumer Electronics Show 2008 is set to be a well-attended occasion from the big names in consumer electronics industry including giant cell phone manufacturers from all over the world. There are a total of 2,700 exhibitors that is set to amaze consumers. New products would be lined under 30 categories. The spotlight is on wireless technology and how such advancement would be integrated on mobile phones.
Exhibitors in the cell phone industry include top players like Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson and Motorola, among others. Although, there are no rumors that these mobile giants would unveil a totally new line of products under their brand, there are set to showcase wireless innovations that the company would offer to the mass market in the near future.
Wireless technology is set to make it big in the market. On the Consumer Electronics Show, phone manufacturers are rumored to display their own set of mobile and wearable computing device, on the go media players, networking equipments and wireless in-vehicle technology.
Motorola would be unveiling the DH01, their very own mobile TV with DVBH broadcasting standard. It is a portable media player that Motorola owners use to view live TV and recorded programs. It comes with a 4.3-inch screen with a total of 16 million colors. Consumers can experience uninterrupted live TV viewing for four full hours. It also displayed the Rzr Z6, which features a 2 GB of storage and has the capability to download music from online stores.
Nokia,, the biggest name in the mobile phone industry, unveiled the Nokia N76. One of he smartest smartphones in the market today. Great features of the N76 include a 2 megapixel camera and 2 GB of expandable memory plus the ability to browse the Internet wherever you may be. Nokia is would also be teaming up with Skype to allow Nokia cell phones, like N800, to make Internet calls.
From Sony Ericsson, the company launched two new handsets in the line up of their walkman mobile phones. The W200 and the W880 is set to attract music lovers. This is a follow up to the more popular Sony Ericsson W800 handset.
Other wireless technology and software are being displayed in the Las Vegas Consumer Electronic Show that is set to awe and excite consumers all over the world.
