Why would I start the reviews with a phone that's almost two years old (ok 1.5 years max), quite simply, I own one. I've had my T720 for almost 6 months now, and the phone is nothing short of brilliant. For what I paid, this phone is the perfect starter flip phone for the everyday consumer. Some have claimed the screen locks, I've had this problem only once, essentially something crashed but it rebooted and everything is fine. Reception with Rogers in Canada is excellant. I have great coverage and the sound hears like it's coming from a land line. The internet capabilities are good, I took advantage of a free trial to use the net, the interface is simple, yet your abilities on the net are somewhat limited. YOu can sink email on the phone, this takes time to set up, but it does work. You can throw program on such as MSN and remotely log in from your phone. The keypad is somewhat small, and entering words is a bit tedious with the system they use on the T720. I use the calendar option and I"m pleased. It has a few too many options in the calendar, and entering items is once again time consuming. THe only problem I had initially was the fact the send button is on the reverse side, the right. As well, I find that some ring tones are very very quite despite cranking them up. All in all I'd rate this phone an 8.5/10 simply becuase it's a great cheap flip phone.
Pros: Coverage is great, wireless capabilities, colour screen, nice design
Cons: Soft rings, opposite send key, sometimes hard to write long msgs.
