The Motorola v220 is an entry-level version of the successful Motorola v300, v400 or v600 cell phones. It offers many of the same features, but in a smaller, simpler form factor. The color display is just a STN, not a TFT. Includes do-it-yourself ringtones and graphics, video playback, a VGA built-in camera, and a speakerphone. Battery life is excellent! Which is surprising due to its low price. Some have complained that the ringtones are quiet, which seems to be a consistent problem in many Motorola phones...However, you can't really go wrong here for the price. The v220 is a solid phone that's very light, typical Motorola calmshell design; technology support is GSM/GPRS. For what it provides, cheap and reliable for the most part, it's a good buy. Professionals should opt for the higher end models - v600 and higher...
