Samsung SGH-i300 Smartphone

Samsung announced the release of its latest Windows Mobile Smartphone the Samsung SGH-i300. The release version will comes with Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition for Smartphone instead of Microsoft's latest version - Windows Mobile 5.0 Other features includes a QVGA screen, tri-band GSM/GPRS (GSM 900, 1800 and 1900) as well as Bluetooth (but not W-LAN).

What's the buzz about? Probably the 3GB hard disk and in addition it supports microSD memory cards (unfortunately not SD or miniSD). For navigation, you can either use the d-pad the standard left/right/up/down way or you can scroll the wheel. For enhanced entertainment joy, the i300 also supports the Bluetooth stereo headset profile as well as the device features "SRS WOW XT" 3D stereo sound.

Since the SGH-i300 also received the FCC approval, there is a minimal chance to see it released in North America too but for sure it will be released in Europe and Asia (as SGH-i308 ).
