Sprint Nextel Release the Samsung A420.

Sprint Nextel released the entry level PCS handset, the Samsung A420. T A420 has the regular entry level features but includes voice/memo recorder, phone book that can store up to 299 entries, speakerphone, (with its own dedicated button), comes in handy when using voice activated dialing, T9 predictive text input to the package, along with a 65k color TFT (128x160 pixel resolution) display. A couple of additional features of note are the caller ID and 40+ built-in custom ringtones.

The Samsung A420 weighs in at 82g (2.9oz) and measures 76mm x 43mm x 20mm (3" x 1.7" x .8") in size. The battery should allow for up to 3.5 hours continuous digital talk time. The Samsung A420 is available now from Sprint Nextel. It is available for free on Sprint's website, after rebates and discounts, with a new 2 year service agreement.
