The worldwide mobile infrastructure market grew 10 percent during the second quarter, but declined 3 percent compared with last year’s second quarter, according to a new study from market research firm Dell’Oro Group.
Weak sales of CDMA equipment impacted overall sales for the quarter. CDMA sales fell 26 percent from the second quarter last year, said Dell’Oro. However, the GSM market got a boost from increased spending in China, which offset weakness in North America and Latin America, said the company.
