I was a bit surprised with the charts between Telus and Rogers. I thought Rogers had more coverage than Telus but apparently they don't. According to their charts (i'll put them up in the blog) Telus far out strips rogers and have 17 more towers (or something akin to that). This is weird to me since I have both Telus and Rogers phones and within the city I get great Rogers reception and blanks with Telus, and out in the country the same thing..... Weird.

Aha, Rogers advertises it has ''clearest network", which they explaine in verry small letters at the bottom ''as the clearest GSM network in Canada''. Funny, especially as they are the **ONLY** GSM network in Canada (Fido belongs to Rogers by the way). Bell & Telus are CDMA networks, meaning they have larger coverage, and faster & more reliable web access for PDA. Reminds me of an ad by Menthos round gum , citing : '' 100% of people chewing square gum die'' Duh!

It's really odd, I'm with Rogers, adn despite having fewer towers, it's always me who ahs better coverage in the city and in the country... and i mean deeep country. I'm in alberta so.... but yea, because of this I've always thought Rogers had better coverage.
