Sony Ericsson Z610 was released in the UK focussed as an entry level handest with an advanced feature set yet still want look stylish when out and about. This lustrous, mirror-like clamshell supports features such as push email and an RSS news feed reader. The devices boasts a 2 megapixel digital camera and a media player that supports MP3, AAC, AAC+, and eAAC+ music formats, as well as Bluetooth A2DP stereo headphones.
The Z610 has a 2" 262k color TFD display with 220x176 pixel resolution on the inside, and a hidden OLED 128x36 pixel resolution display on the outside that provides information on inbound calls or messages, as well as the time. The Z610i's 2 megapixel camera offers its users the option to either quickly upload photos to a Picture Blog application or store the photos on the included 64MB Memory Stick Micro (M2) memory card. Cards as large as 1GB in size can be used in the Z610i, which will hold approximately 2,800 two megapixel pictures.
The triband GSM device supports UMTS; 110g (3.9oz) Z610 measures in at 95mm x 49mm x 20mm (3.7" x 1.9" x.8").
Sony Ericsson hopes the Z610i will be your choice for the phone to be seen and heard with. The Z610i should start shipping later this quarter (Q3) and will be made available in Luster Black, Rose Pink, and Airy Blue.
