Blackberry 8707v with 3g connectivity

The first Blackberry with 3G data connectivity and a full QWERTY keyboard will soon launch on Vodafone in the UK. The 8707v is identical to the 8700 in size, shape and specifications; the only difference is that it adds UMTS (2100 MHz) connectivity to the previous model. In addition to Blackberry features like email sync and a QWERTY keyboard, the 8700 and 8707 feature 64 MB RAM and Bluetooth 2.0 (including a DUN profile). Though the 8707v is bound for Vodafone in Europe, RIM typically will produce additional models for other carriers and bands, however the company has not made any official statements regarding this model or any other versions of it.

The only 3G Blackberry available in the US is the EV-DO 7130e, which has many similar features but has a hybrid keyboard.
