The BenQ-Siemens E71

The BenQ-Siemens E71 sports a non-stick coating that the manufacturer claims will almost eliminate fingerprints caused by touching the device. The cell phone also includes a sharp 262k color TFT display with a QVGA resolution. The handset has a 1.3 megapixel camera for capturing photos on the go, and will record video in MPEG4 format. EDGE and Bluetooth take care of data communications, plus the E71 sports a microSD memory card expansion slot for storing tunes to be played on the in built MP3 player. A full suite of software is preinstalled in the BenQ-Siemens E71, including an organizer for appointments, tasks, and notes, plus a moon calendar, alarm clock, and currency calculator.

The BenQ-Siemens E71 will be available in Dark Silver and Onyx Black from September 2006 in Europe and Latin America, and from November 2006 in Asia.
