HELP with unlocked phone

Bought an unlocked Blackberry Pearl. Having trouble switching service to it. Verizon says not compatible. Current blackberry is a 7130e. Any advice???

When you buy unlocked it's usually for the GSM network (99% of the time). Verizon is a CDMA provider so you have a phone for the ATT or TMobile network not Verizon. It will never work unless it's quad band.... but even then you'd have to jump through so many hoops to get it to work on your CDMA network provider.

I think you're confusing something. blackberry 7130e is a CDMA phone and does not come in GSM quad band. If it's 7130 e then it's not GSM as far as I can tell. Having said that, getting an unlocked CDMA phone is pretty rare. Maybe if you give us more details we can help.
