Hi,I new here,and I hope this site is as informative as others I am membered to. The question is, Is a free free ringtone really free? Is it free for just downloading? Can it be be sent to your phone for free also? I have Cingular,LG CU400. Thanks,

If the carrier has offered you a free ringtone then usually it is free, you don't pay a buck or whatever the cost. However, you are charged data fees when you access the ringtone and download it. That's where they catch you.

if the carrier says its free, then it probably is. if u got bluetooth u can just bluetooth mp3s to it
