I currently have a N95, last time I messed up my sim card (which is the old one - Cingular and it's a GSM sim). Now I got a new one from AT&T (the 3G one I think because it is said so on the sim card).
So, I would like to ask if there will be any cost for using the new 3G sim card? I didn't use any web services : music, video, stuffs.
By the way, 3G is fast but the coverage area is not huge like GSM. Is it covered at West Palm Beach?
Thanks.

3G doesn't add cost (other than that the devices themselves are newer & a little more expensive). If you don't use internet, 3G doesn't cost you anthing. The 3G SIM cards are not as easily copied (contacts and what not), as well as cloned (this is good- old cell phone fraud used to involve making a copy of a SIM and running up the bill- the victim could be left with a lot of $$$ to pay).
3G service isn't widespread, but it will work in Edge and regular GSM areas. If your non-3G friends with Cingular get service, you will. It automatically falls back without issue. Fortunately, 3G is now offered at West Palm Beach.
Hope this helps! Enjoy!
