Forget the car charger. Sprint Nextel is the first to market with a portable charger from Energizer, the Energi To Go, which can charge a cell phone using AA batteries.
The connection pack for $25 includes the single-barrel charger, an Energizer e2 Lithium AA battery and three connector tips: a universal CDMA connector, a mini-USB connector and a universal iDEN connector. According to Sprint Nextel, the charger will work with 80 percent of its phones on the market.
