TELUS and Motorola introduced the Motorola i605, the first Mike phone enabled with Bluetooth, which allows Mike users to exchange data with compatible Bluetooth devices within a range of 10 metres.

Designed for field-service, construction, transportation and government clients, the Motorola i605 delivers powerful features including GPS capability, Mike's Talk Around - for Push To Talk in remote areas without network coverage - and a rubberized monolith design that meets military specifications for resistance to dust, shock and vibration. The Motorola i605 includes a large 262K colour display, which minimizes glare for optimized outdoor use and allows users to view up to 14 lines of text without scrolling.

Like all Mike phones, the Motorola i605 features the powerful Mike's Direct Connect Push To Talk feature. Direct Connect, used by millions of people across Canada, the United States, Mexico and South America, allows business users to talk instantly at the push of a button. The Motorola i605 handset weighs 167 grams and measures 125 x 50 x 29 mm with the included maximum capacity battery.
