On Verizon's(wireless) website under "my account" features they offer "Minute Check" and propose to notify by email if minutes have been exceeded. After trying repeatedly to sign up I called for support, and was told there was no such thing. After pressing the employee and reading the offer verbatim he then said that it would be available when the website capability was up and running. Come on...a big company like that can't get their IT people together? I know it has been there at least a week. Is there no oversight or governance? Can they get away with this?

Yes they can get away with it, and yes, it's a really bad example of a company who can't get their act together. It's weird cause Verizon usually has these things worked out.
