Panasonic has released a Bluetooth headset, the BHX70, to complement its Symbian OS smartphone, the Panasonic X700, although it works with all other Bluetooth phones as well.
The BHX70 is a moderately sized headset, measuring 57 x 36 x 30 mm and weighing in at 23 grams. It includes two LED indcators, and the Class 3 Bluetooth radio is rated for up to 10 meters. As with most current headsets it supports both the Headset and Handsfree profiles to connect to any Bluetooth phone on the market. For the fasion conscious, the BHX70 is available with three replaceable colored covers.
The included battery is rated for 5 hours talk time or 125 hours standby. It also uses the same charging cable as the Panasonic X700, making life easier for exisiting Panasonic users.
