Hovr free ad-supported mobile games

Hovr is the latest player in the ad-supported mobile gaming waters, launching an online community with more than 100 free titles.

Apparently this technology “places dynamic, targeted and interactive advertisements” into mobile games. Players who download offerings from the company’s Web site will view a commercial before they play, and will see product placement within games.

The company claims to have distribution agreements with 15 publishers including Robotube Games and Kiloo, and offers a social networking community allowing players to interact and compete against each other.

Other companies that offer similar optinos include Greystripe and their ad-supported mobile game service, and Visa recently launched a free “money management” game for mobile users.
