I reasontly received my cell phone bill and had noticed that I was being charged for downloading ringtones and downloading fee of course. Little did I know that the samething was on my last four month bills with different amounts. I called Telus and requested a explaination. All they could tell me was that I has downloaded ringtones and that's it, then persude to tell them that this was an error cause I've never downloading anything in the time that I've been with them. So I asked to be reinbursed for the charges for the past four months that's only cause I have the bills I dont' know were the rest are. I was told that they could only give half of the charges for this month and that's it and the rest is my problem.

Can you say CROOKED

I'll say it again, we get the most complaints from Telus customers from all the top Canadian carriers. Keep us posted on what happens. Something tells me that if you keep buggin they'll refund entirely, just talk to someone higher up, which may be harder since they're short staffed right now.

Get a life and start looking at your bills.
4 month and you have not checked what you payed for?
And you lost your previous bills?
How old are you?
Grow up [Sad]
And this goes for all compagnies, not Telus only
You have your part of responsability in the process (meaning reading what you were charged for).
Rogers make mistakes quite more often, and pretty impossible to get any refund from them, even on the same month.
Big compagnies do make mistakes, that why looking at the bill (how busy/lazy are you not to look where your money is going?)
Plus, being billed for downloads you ''didn't" do for 4 month and not noticing?
1 download = at least 3$+tax on a bill.........

It's really a subjective thing, you can't say Rogers is better over Telus without doing a tests.

I have 1 Telus phone and 1 Rogers phone for 2 years. No problems on either... both were professional... so that's a moot point.

i know how that is, on august 5th 07 i had called telus to report my phone as stolen! so last week i got a call from my friend saying for 20$ i can get the same phone from the pon shop near my house! so of course i go over to buy it! turns out it was my phone but anyways! so i called and told them i found it and would like to re activate, i got it activated, called back later in that day to find out about my subscription they tell me, then they start telling me about owing them 937.00 and im like WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT! i reported my phone stolen on aug 5th im not paying for that are you crazy! so im transfered to 3 other people! need less to say the last person i talked to was trying to tell me that i never called and reported my phone, that i downloaded over yes OVER 66 ring tones, 15 pictures and a bunch of other shit which i didnt! so im like "so what your saying is i am completely fucked over and there aint a damn thing u can do about it" (by then i was completely pissed off) and she has the nerves to tell me its my responsibility! excuse me!!! its not my responsibility to make sure that your employees are doing there got damn job! like i spoke to a lady who informed my that my phone would have a hold or w,e on it and because she didnt bother to put a note on the computer there gunna try to screw me over! i dont think so!!

err i sware if telus doesnt do something about this im taking them to court! cause i got a letter from them saying that on the 24 (in like 3 days) if i dont pay the bill there sending my stuff to the collection agency!

That's too bad, I'm dealing with Rogers now. The best thing you can do is phone them back and talk to someone a bit higher up. Keep your cool, for big huge bills like that they're usually OK to wip eit clean once.
