Hi guys I hope someone can explain me maybe why this is happening and how could I fix it.

I just got a new i870 Phone from eBay from the USA and I live in Canada, I love the phone and I was able to unlock it. It works great but the only problem is that I cannot use the Text messaging feature I cannot send Picture or regular Texts at all. Does anyone knows why does not work and how could I get it fix. My package with Telus includes unlimeted Text and Picture text, when I put the Sim in my old iDen phone from Telus it works no problem I can Text as much as I want.

Something tells me that certain features are disabled when you move phones from carrier to carrier on CDMA. There are default 'security' features that lock the phone to other things... I do'nt really see why SMS or txt msg would be one of them. Phone and ask them.
