11 week old phone in the shop for 6 weeks.

I purchased my phone and 1 month later it stopped charging. Three weeks in the shop one week back in use it stopped charging again. Telus offered to repair it again so by the time I get it back I will have owned it for 11 weeks in which they’ll have had it for 6. So I requested they give me a new phone, to which they offered me 100.00 dollars off a new phone. The V262 phone that I have is one of the least expensive phones they offer at 150.00. So they want me to pay the 50.00 extra to replace my faulty under 2 month old phone or wait for the repaired one again, and who knows if it’ll work. Further they said they couldn’t copy my data on to the loaner phone so I went and bought my own cable to copy it the data to the next loaner or hopefully eventually new phone.

Am I crazy or is that really poor customer service.

Think twice and look at the competition before choosing Telus

Forgot to mention I have over an hour today alone in phone calls to Telus.

Hi, Sorry for the late reply.

Yea, my friend, you've been screwed, when you get a bad lemon of a phone and didn't get the stupid expensive insurance then yes, you're screwed.

Big companies (all of them really) do'nt care to give you a replacement phone when it costs them big money. U can try going higher up the ladder to get a refund, but, in my experience, the only way you'll get another phone (Telus has a policy to force their customers to 'buy a new phone at a discount' when lemon phones are found) is to actually send a letter to the Canadian office of the manufacturer. It will be harder to get a replacement phone, however, b/c telus is CDMA.......Let us know how you fair.
