Cingular 2125 Smartphone is the first Smartphone-class handset in the U.S. to feature the new Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 OS. The Cingular 2125 Smartphone, Cingular's first B2B device, provides the consumer with an affordable, converged high-speed, global wireless communications device. The Smartphone includes, Bluetooth support, quad-band international roaming and support for EDGE, personal email applications integrated on the phone such as Microsoft Office Outlook Mobile and Microsoft Exchange Server, GoodLink" from Good Technology, Cingular Xpress Mail and MSN Hotmail. In addition to e-mail the Cingular 2125 features popular wireless messaging applications including MSN Messenger and MMS. Powered by Microsoft's newest mobile operating system, Windows Mobile 5.0, the Cingular 2125 Smartphone will be upgradeable for the Messaging and Security Feature Pack featuring direct push e-mail technology when launched by Cingular in the first half of 2006. Cingular 2125 users will also benefit from Windows Mobile persistent memory storage as it retains information even when the device's battery is depleted. The Cingular 2125 also provides a rich multimedia experience to enjoy music and video featuring an integrated multimedia suite with Windows Media Player 10 Mobile, stereo headset jack, and 1.3 megapixel camera. The device supports multiple audio formats including MP3, AMR, AAC, WAV and WMA, as well as MPEG-4 video streaming. A mini-SD expansion card slot allows the user to add memory for storing music, games, photos and video. The Cingular 2125 Smartphone is a GSM quad-band (850/900/1800/1900 MHz) "world phone" that leverages Cingular's roaming agreements with carriers in more than 165 countries for voice and 95 countries for data to provide users with a wide-ranging international communications capability. The Cingular 2125 boasts a sleek design -- 4.32 inches (L) x 1.84 inches (W) x 3/4 inch (T) -- and is lightweight at 3.71 ounces, including battery pack. On board the Cingular 2125 is powered by a TI OMAP 850 200 MHz Processor, with 64MB SDRAM / 64MB Flash ROM. The device features a 2.2" QVGA 64K Color TFT Screen and comes with Windows Media Player 10 Mobile, stereo headset jack, 1.3 Megapixel Camera with Camcorder, Bluetooth 1.2, Infrared and Mini-USB connectivity. A 1150mAh Lithium-ion battery provides up to four hours talk and up to six days standby time.
