Roaming for ATT Cingular Customers Texas Gets Hard

AT&T Mobility (Cingular Wireless) ended a roaming agreement with Cellular One of East Texas that allowed the carrier to use 26 Cellular One cell sites in eastern Texas near the Louisiana border. No word on how bad this will affect the customers of ATT in the area, if at all. It will either slow down communication with more dead spots or Cingular/ATT have built their own network support.

The change does not affect Cellular One customers' ability to roam onto AT&T's national network. Let us know how this affected you.
