Bell Mobility Phones now fun MSN Messenger

Bell Canada announced the availability of MSN Messenger on its mobile phones. The new service provides Bell Mobility customers with the ability to use MSN Messenger to transmit messages they type on their mobile phone to people on their contact list in real-time over the Internet to other mobile phones or PCs.

Bell Mobility is initially launching four instant message-ready handsets, with more to follow this year. Bell Mobility customers can get MSN Messenger on select handsets for $3 per month. If they subscribe to the $5 Mobile Browser bundle or one of Bell Mobility's $35 and up rate plans that include the Mobile Browser bundle, they will enjoy unlimited messaging without incurring any transfer fees.

The MSN Messenger service offered by Bell Mobility is powered by Montreal-based OZ Communications Inc. - a developer of mobile IM and email solutions. The OZ Mobile IM Gateway and Client solution will provide Bell Mobility customers with a seamless and always-on mobile messaging experience.
