Motorola C341 Released for Bell Mobility

Motorola, Inc. announced the Canadian launch of the Motorola C341 handset. The Motorola C341 is packed with the latest and greatest features necessary for self-expression among today's youth, downloadable ring tones, screensavers and wallpapers, a customizable menu (one-touch access to the
features one uses the most) and a vivid colour display screen. The C341 handset will operate exclusively in Canada on the Bell Mobility CDMA 1x 800/1900 MHz/800 MHz Analog network.

in Canada and Bell wants take a part of the market. "The personalization capabilities of the Motorola C341 handset such as the customizable menu, downloadable ringtones and optional coloured convertible covers make it an ideal phone for those looking to make their phone their own."

Text messaging is another popular wireless phone feature extremely important to Canadian teens. According to the Canadian Wireless Telecommunications Association (CWTA), Canadians now send over 55 million text messages per month and more than 1.8 million text messages per day. A recent Decima Research/Bell Canada survey revealed that 30 per cent of 13-24 year olds reported sending one to five text messages per week and are most likely to use text messaging than any other age group. "Motorola strives to provide Canadian teens with a variety of choices for communicating their messages," said Orr. "Handsets such as the C341, with its text-messaging capabilities, provide a sense of empowerment and individuality that is desired by our younger customers."

The Motorola C341 sells for as low as $0, with a service agreement from
Bell Mobility. Both are available for purchase at a Bell Mobility dealer and
retail locations across Canada.
