kay i'm with bell mobility. i broke my audiovox 8910 (warrenty voided), so i got a temp phone from a friend which was also a bell phone.
ok my question is to get a new phone, does it have to be from bell as well. can i get an old telus provider phone, and put my bell contract onto that phone...?
please someone give me an answer =D

Hypothetically you have the right service provider, both use CDMA handsets. However, it's harder to tell if they will be compatible since CDMA phones are very specific to their carrier. GSM is far easier since they sit 'unlocked' after use, and/or, are easily unlocked. CDMA phones are someimtes manufacturered specifically for a carrier. I'd post the Telus phone here and better yet, phone Bell and tell them what you have. They'll be able to tell you.
