BenQ-Siemens released the ultra feminine SL80 slider (the pinky purply kind). The triband GSM/EDGE handset is the successor to the successful SL75 and is aimed at the design conscious user. This slender and compact slider exudes personality with its shimmering metallic rose color and is targeted to female consumers

The SL80 utilizes proSLIDE, which is the handset's smooth semi-automatic slider mechanism that makes opening and closing the device even easier. Apart from looking good, the SL80 comes equipped with 52MB of built-in storage to back up the handset's video capable 1.3 megapixel camera and its music player application. The music player supports the typical MP3 and AAC+ formats. Browsing the web and reading email messages are a breeze even in the harsh sunlight thanks to the SL80's 1.8" 262k transflective TFT display.

Other highlights of the SL80 include an on-board organizer that will help you stay on time for your appointments or keep an organized shopping list, an address book, and, for the times when you want to share your photos, PictBridge support to instantly print out photos to a Bluetooth-enabled printer.
