white spot turning red

hello all i recently jumped in the pool with my cell on me.
well it turn the little water spot red of course.
so i was tryin to figure out what i could do and
al be damn . house hold bleach does the trick.
yep i put bleach on the red spots and they turned white again.
now this is where it get cool. i went to the store to see if cell
had some kind of warrenty on it and it did. and because the little dot
was white. they gave me a new one. they ask me a few questions and
poof i got a new one. they took the old one and tost it into a bucket with other
cell phones.

i would take these steps before going to store to try and get new one.

step 1. make sure phone is completly dry. ( at least a week)

step 2. take a little ear thing that you clean your ears with and put a little bleach
on it. you might have to do this twice. just a little bleach. you don't want to soak it just dab it alittle.

step 3. let phone air out for atleast a week to make sure it doesn't smell like bleach.

PS if your lcd screen is all funky colors . they will know right away that its water. this will really only work for cells that still have a decent lcd image but with error codes.
90% of the people you ask about these error codes will be like .. i dont know or i can find this error. hmm. thats when you get a new phone. well good luck to all. and hope this works for people.

no. i mean the water dots that they put on the cell phone to tell if it got wet with out taken it apart. the ones that are white and turn red when you get them wet. bleach turns them white again!![]

haha, that's funny. i bet there in different spots though too. I can imagine bleach would wreck havoc on electronics so be careful.
