Samsung Release SGH-J600 Phone

Samsung launched the new SGH-J600 is a mid-level slider camera phone. This tri-band GSM/EDGE (900/180/1900MHz) handset measures 90.6mm x 44.7mm x 17.9mm (3.6" x 1.8" x .7") in size and weighs a respectable 99g (3.5oz). It has a somewhat small 1.9" main display that is capable of showing 65k colors on its 128x160 pixel canvas.

The Samsung SGH-J600 comes equipped with a modest 1.3 megapixel digital camera that is also video capable. A MP3/WMA/AAC/AAC+ capable music player is also on-board, as is an FM radio. Picture, video, and music files can be stored in the device's internal 20MB of storage space or on an optional microSD memory card. Cards of up to 2GB in capacity are supported.

Bluetooth 1.2 wireless and USB 1.1 cable connections, hands-free speakerphone, and thats' about it for more features.

The Samsung SGH-J600 is available this month in Southeast Asia in four colors: dark gray, purple blue, cool silver, and coral pink.
