Hi All, I currently have a Treo 650 and I am almost to the point where I can upgrade my unit I love the media capabilities that the Treo has so my choices are:
o any of the Treo 700 series units (does the 700wx model support .prc files)
o the UTStarcomm 6700
o the Motorola Moto Q

Any info will be great so that I can make an informed decision.

I like the look of the Moto Q and it does support more media types but I've been using Palm OS since the IIIxe so I'm pretty used to the touch interface and the way things are layed out.
What would be the benefit of moving over to a winmob os device?

Can't really comment myself on the move to winmob since I haven't used Palm extensively but I can say that in the comparison you made I would opt for Moto Q. It's just a solid phone all around (not saying it's the best every made )

Have you made your choice yet? I too have a Treo 650. My Sprint contract is about to expire and I'm thinking of switching to Verizon and trying to decide between an upgrade to the 700p and a Blackberry. The two most important things for me (my business) are a good phone and push e-mail. I haven't heard whether the push e-mail with the 700p is comparable to the Blackberry. Any insight?

In terms of push email clients nothing really compares to Blackberry. The thing is though, that's pretty much all it does. If you want a big organizer then you need to get something else, mind you the email won't be as great.
